For those who don't meditate, this will sound out there, but meditation helps me set an intention for almost all that I do. I visualize the path forward. I create a picture of the end goal. I see the big picture in my minds eye! I get very clear! Give meditation a try! You could even start with 5 minutes to start the day & 5 at the end the day.
"De-junk" January is definitely an energizing experience, it's a motivating movement, it's a happy habit of mine that I have been doing for several years now. Each year this process becomes less and less tedious and more & more enjoyable because through the years I have changed my mind-set about clutter. Clutter no longer accumulates like it used to. Even after enlisting the KonMarie Method, this is still a work in progress. The end goal is not having to spend the time de-junking. I continue to fine tune my systems that keep my space under control and energized. The Rise podcast with Rachel Hollis lead me to this book, High Performance Habits by Brendon Burchard. This book is such a gift. It completely changed my mind-set. It made me realize life isn't about making New Year's Resolutions or setting general goals, it's having good, fine-tuned habits that will help you play the LONG game!

I have been reading the book & listening to the audio version as well on The Brendon Show podcast. Each morning I wake up, meditate, then fill in the my hourly schedule for the day! This has been so helpful to make sure that I am spending time on what really matters!
