In this episode, Suzanne discusses her Top Five Favorite Breath Techniques.
  1. Ujjayi Breath - also known as ocean breath or victorious breath.
  2. Nadi Shodhana - alternate nostril breathing.
  3. 7-11 - (7) counts on the inhale. (11) counts on the exhale.
  4. Box Breath - (4) counts inhale. (4) counts hold. (4) counts exhale. (4) counts hold.
  5. Kapalabhati - also known as breath of fire or shining skull.
Science backs the benefits of breath work, so Suzanne highly recommends using it on the mat as well as off the mat. It is a powerful tool that travels with you wherever you go!
